Tasting-Rosemont Chardonnay

Name: Rosemount Chardonnay
Variety: Chardonnay
Region: South Australia
Country: Australia
Year: 2013
Price: $10

Winery Review: "This world-renowned wine shows peachy tropical fruit and melon characters on the nose, with a hint of citrus freshness and judicious use of oak. The palate is generous and soft with full, ripe tropical flavors folded into a creamy backdrop that is beautifully structured with a long satisfying finish."

My Review: When I smelt this wine aromas of sweet fruit were given off. The specific smells I listed were a slight honeydew, but it also smelt somewhat dry to me. After tasting the wine the dryness remained and I tasted a light hint of peppers. I did not love this wine, but did not hate it. However, it would not be a wine I chose to drink if there were other options presented.

This wine was not enjoyed with food
